This picture was taken on Sunday, September 2, 2001, a short time after a solemn service, and uplifting message and a moment of appreciation expressed by the family members that accompanied these men.  From the jungle of Vietnam to the farmland of Kentucky, the men of the 538th LCC and the 35th LCT had come together again, renewing the bond of brotherhood, that began so many years ago and so many miles away.
