The weatherman
was calling for three days of showers, and for once,
unfortunately, he was right |
This tent was loaned to us
by "Rainbow Ministries" a local church. Everyone pitched in to
unload tables and chairs. |
|
|
Putting up the
tents were Dannie Johnson, Larry McCain, Roger Briggs, Mickey
Spencer, and our friend, Eddie Kissiar. Bill Ingram was
supervising. |
The local National Guard
~Company C 2/123rd Armor~ loaned us two GP medium tents. One
was used for the souvenirs and photos that everyone brought to
share. The other was used to view tapes of the 538th that were
taken on 8mm film by "Doc" Stuczynski and a slideshow of the
538th by Bill Fleer |
|
|
Dannie Johnson
made special trash barrels for the occasion.
He also brought an army cot, and foot locker to set up in the
display tent. |
Bill Ingram built us an
outhouse and christened it "Pat" |
