The company was never in one
place for too long. These pictures show a convoy moving the
unit to a new site. The moving of the unit, took place
while the plows were "in the cut", also making their way to
the new camp.
Depending on the number of vehicles available to make the
move, the transporting of the companies "possessions" would
be done in a couple of trips.
When the plows had to be moved from place to place, the 10
ton trucks with low boy trailers were used for that purpose.
At times, the company
encountered bridges that were impassable for various
reasons, making it necessary to ferry the equipment across
rivers.
They were loaded onto barges, or pontoons, as shown in these
pictures.
